Prerequisite: ELLC 66-90

Nurse Assistant/Home Health Aide with State Exam About the Course The Nurse Assistant training program prepares students for an entry‑level career in healthcare and for the Massachusetts State Board exam to become a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA). Students learn hands‑on skills in our state‑licensed lab, including taking vital signs; moving and turning patients; personal care and hygiene; bed making, bathing, and feeding; basic record keeping; and responding to emergencies. Clinicals Includes a supervised clinical experience in a local long‑term care facility with a Registered Nurse Instructor. Certifications Includes certifications in Home Health Aide, CPR, and CMS Hand in Hand Dementia Training. At the end of the course, students must take and pass the State Board exam to become a CNA in Massachusetts. The exam is included in the cost of the class.
