About This Course
The Nurse Assistant training program prepares students for an entry‑level career in healthcare and for the Massachusetts State Board exam to become a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA). Students learn hands‑on skills in our state‑licensed lab, including taking vital signs; moving and turning patients; personal care and hygiene; bed making, bathing, and feeding; basic record keeping; and responding to emergencies.
Clinicals
Includes a supervised clinical experience in a local long‑term care facility with a Registered Nurse Instructor.
Certifications
Includes certifications in Home Health Aide, CPR, and CMS Hand in Hand Dementia Training. At the end of the course, students must take and pass the State Board exam to become a CNA in Massachusetts. The exam is included in the cost of the class.

Designed to provide knowledge and understanding of real estate principles and practices. Prepare for the Massachusetts Real Estate Salesperson's Examination. This course is taught by a Massachusetts certified instructor.
Attendance Requirements

Central Sterile Processing Technician
About This Course
Learn how to clean, sterilize, and manage surgical instruments and medical equipment used in hospitals and clinics. This program covers setting up equipment for procedures, preventing infection, and handling inventory, including ordering and maintaining supplies.
Clinicals
Students will gain classroom instruction and hands-on clinical experience in a sterile processing department, with schedules based on clinical site availability. Please note: Clinical site placements are based on the North Shore (MA) service area.
Certifications
After completing the program, students are eligible to take the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) certification exam at a local Prometric Testing Center (exam fee not included).
Students must complete 400 hours of on-the-job experience within 6 months of employment to be fully certified.
Costs
The required textbook, workbook and flashcards are included in the cost of the course. Exams are not included in the cost of the program.

PHLEBOTOMY HEA103

Phlebotomy
About This Course
In this course, students will learn how to safely perform blood draws (venipuncture and microcollection) and handle specimens properly. Topics include medical terminology, basic anatomy and physiology, blood collection techniques, and collecting other types of specimens within a phlebotomist’s role.
Externship
Students who successfully complete this program are eligible to participate in an optional volunteer externship opportunity with a local company/agency/organization in order to gain valuable hands-on experience.
Certifications
Course prepares students for the National Workforce Career Association (NWCA) Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) certification exam.
Costs

About This Course
Prepare for an entry-level position as a chair-side Dental Assistant. Become familiar with all areas of administrative and clinical dental assisting to work in a dental practice. Learn the history of dentistry, introduction to the dental office, the legal aspects of dentistry, introduction to oral anatomy, dental operatory, introduction to tooth structure (primary and permanent teeth), the oral cavity; and other areas.
Externship
Students who successfully complete this program are eligible to participate in an optional but highly recommended volunteer externship opportunity with a local company/agency/organization in order to gain valuable hands-on experience.
Certifications
