Nurse Assistant/Home Health Aide with State Exam

About This Course
The Nurse Assistant training program prepares students for an entry‑level career in healthcare and for the Massachusetts State Board exam to become a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA). Students learn hands‑on skills in our state‑licensed lab, including taking vital signs; moving and turning patients; personal care and hygiene; bed making, bathing, and feeding; basic record keeping; and responding to emergencies.

Clinicals
Includes a supervised clinical experience in a local long‑term care facility with a Registered Nurse Instructor.

Certifications
Includes certifications in Home Health Aide, CPR, and CMS Hand in Hand Dementia Training. At the end of the course, students must take and pass the State Board exam to become a CNA in Massachusetts. The exam is included in the cost of the class.

Taxes for Bookkeepers & Tax Preparers: An Introduction

About This Course
Advance your career in your CPA firm or strengthen your tax expertise with guidance from CPA Kevin McAlarney. This course covers key individual tax topics, including common tax forms, taxable and tax-free income, self-employment and rental income, Social Security, interest and dividends, capital gains and losses, deductions (itemized, business, vehicle, charitable, IRA), filing status, dependents, education credits, and depreciation basics.

Phlebotomy & EKG Career Path

About This Course
The combined Phlebotomy and EKG Technician program provides the necessary skills required to function as a vital member of the clinical laboratory team. Learn to collect blood specimens from clients for the purpose of laboratory analysis, become familiar with all aspects of blood collection, and the necessary skills needed to perform venipunctures safely.

Combined with EKG, the course further covers topics and processes critical to conducting and interpreting electrocardiograms (EKGs) including the anatomy and physiology of the heart, technology used such as the EKG machine, how to interpret a rhythm strip, and details of a myocardial infarction.

Externship
Students who successfully complete this program are eligible to participate in an optional volunteer externship opportunity with a local company/agency/organization in order to gain valuable hands-on experience.

Certifications
Course prepares you to take the leading national/industry-recognized certification exam(s) essential to entry-level employment in this fast growing field: NWCA National Certification (NWCA) Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) Exam and NWCA National Certificate: (NWCA) EKG Technician (CET) Exam.

Fall Abundance About This Course Enrich your design skills by bringing the bounty of fall indoors as the weather gets crisper. Flower identification, care and handling will be covered as well as design styles. Cost Fresh flowers are included. Required Materials Please bring scissors, knife, ribbon and wire cutters to class.

Pharmacy Technician Program
Students have 4-6 months to finish the online program.

About This Course
Growing demand for pharmacy technicians offers strong job opportunities across healthcare settings. This program prepares students for entry-level roles and the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) exam. Students learn pharmacy terminology, prescription processing, pharmacology, calculations, law, and ethics, along with insurance procedures, inventory control, and communication skills. Graduates gain the knowledge needed to work in pharmacy settings and understand top 200 medications, including their uses and classifications.

Externship Placement Services
Students who successfully complete the program, and pass a background check and drug screen, will have access to Ready to Work (RTW) Job and Externship Placement Services at no additional cost.

Professional Bookeeping with Quickbooks Online ed2go GES2046 Master QuickBooks Online to prepare for a rewarding career in the booking field. Learn basic bookkeeping and accounting principles, including the types of accounting information you, the business owner, manager, bookkeeper, or accountant, need to monitor. Use QuickBooks Online to enter and track your finances, your files will be available to you virtually anytime, anywhere. Hands-on experience recording income and expenses to entering checks and bank transfers to setting up a chart of accounts. Reconcile your acct., manage cc and loan payments, create and print invoices, receipts, and statements, create estimates, generate reports, more. Prepare for the QB certified user exam.

Project Management Professional Exam Prep with Organizational Leadership This course provides experienced project managers with the knowledge and skills necessary to successfully complete the Project Management Institute's nationally recognized Project Management Professional (PMP) exam. This credential is considered the standard of excellence in the field of project management and is often a required credential in the field. The course uses learning activities, practice exams, and assignments to help you prepare for, and successfully complete, the PMP exam.
