Dialysis Technician Program-HEA107

Dialysis Technician Program Students have 4-6 months to finish the online program. Growing demand for dialysis technicians reflects the rise in kidney disease. This program prepares students for entry-level roles in hospitals, clinics, and dialysis centers. Students learn dialysis procedures, patient care, equipment operation, safety protocols, and emergency response. Graduates gain knowledge of renal physiology, hemodialysis principles, and quality care standards, along with the skills needed to monitor patients and support treatment. Certification Opportunities (exam fees not included): National Workforce Career Association (NWCA) Dialysis Technician Associate. All students who successfully complete the program (and pass a background check and drug screen) will have access to the Ready to Work (RTW) Job and Externship Placement services. Health Care Requirements for Non-Credit Health Courses 1. Accuplacer Placement Exam: If you do not have previous college credits students are required to take the Math and Reading Assessment (Accuplacer) and meet or exceed required score. Proof of immunizations, a negative TB test, a COVID-19 vaccine with a booster, or a drug screening may be required for certain healthcare classes.
